About event
"Loud towards the coffin": punk concert on October 3.
Music & information on the finiteness of life
Friday, October 03, 2025 | 7:00 p.m.
Bi Nuu in the Silesian Tor
U-Bahnhof Schlesisches Gate, 10997 Berlin (Kreuzberg)
With a slightly different concert, the central point of contact Hospiz wants to draw attention to something on the day of German unity that is concerned with all of us, but which is best displaced: death, death and grief. Topics that are taken up in many music styles, after all, music is a universal language, for everyone and everywhere in the world.
With the concert, the central contact point wants to gain new target groups for dealing with life-end and pension issues. On the other hand, a sign should be made that punk and heavy metal can deal with the finiteness of life, the radicality of death and grief for losses in a life-affirming way. Stakkato guitar sounds or melodic severity announce their musical messages. "With its energy and honest texts, our music can help think about death and finiteness, but also to celebrate life. All songs are homemade, do not gloss over and challenge the conventions," explains Zah director Thomas Palavinskas. In addition to his appearance as a singer of the band Grossstadtpiraten, he will moderate the evening and inform about the importance of provision for the end of life and the advisory work of the Zah.
Admission to the concert is free, registration is absolutely necessary! (See Ticket Link)
