We invite you to a lecture by Professor Baki Akgül, head of the research department for skin tumors induced papillomavirus at the Institute of Virology of the University Hospital in Cologne. Akgül will present the latest knowledge of oncogenic mechanisms of high-risk human papillomaviruses (HR-HPV), which infect the skin and suppress the immune response. The lecture will also include a discussion on a new approach to vaccination targeted to the oncogenic Beta HPV mechanisms, for which there is no standardized vaccine yet. 13:00
