About event
⚖️ LegalTech Business Breakfast is the first business breakfast in Slovakia that connects lawyers, in-house lawyers, the legaltech world and the new generation of lawyers in one open discussion about the future of law and AI. AI today is changing the way lawyers work, communicate with clients and function in teams. Despite this, Slovakia still lacks a space where these changes would be openly discussed across advocacy, internal legal teams, the business environment and the legaltech community.
This is precisely why the LegalTech Business Breakfast was created, an event focused on networking, current trends, practical experience and connecting people who want to actively shape the future of law.
The program will feature:
⚪ Jakub Kobela from the Academy of Critical Thinking with keynote on critical thinking in the age of AI
⚪ Martin Hricko from HKV and Damián Palašta from SIGNUM legal in a discussion about the future of legal services and the new modus operandi of lawyers
⚪ Ivan Mjartan from Generali and Dominika Vörös from Westech in a panel on whether AI will become part of modern legal departments
⚪ Igor Demčák from TRAMA and Matej Sedlák from Cequence in a debate about how legaltech products are created from real legal problems
⚪ Lukáš Michálik from Ments and Katarína Miháliková from Majerník & Miháliková, who will moderate expert panel discussions
⚪ Denis Čapkovič and Ivan Kormaník from Praktik about AI in legal practice and the current development of legaltech
The program will also include networking, discussions with the community and the presentation of the winners of the FutureLaw Essay Competition 2026.
LegalTech Business Breakfast was created to create a community of people who want to openly discuss where the law is moving in the era of AI. Practical, critical and without unnecessary hype.
