🆕️ Introducing a program of the Vojnice popular summer theater event in Bojnice - Legends come to life 🥳
📆 This year you will be able to come to see the legends on Saturday 19 July, 16 August and 13 September, always from 5 pm ⏳️
The stories will learn interesting facts from the history of the chateau, the city and the region. The stories do not tie on each other, everyone tells its legend. The event is without admission, the form of Corsepower by the City.
🏅 In 2022, the project awarded the director of the Regional Cultural Center in Prievidza - Creative Act of the Year 2021. The calendar year will be legends realized for the fifth time. So far, 20,000 visitors from different parts of Slovakia and abroad have seen the project in 4 years. Many visitors will take part in the event for the first time, many return to it regularly every year. Thanks to the annual variation of individual legends, neither year is the same, compared to the previous ones. The project thus has the sustainability of the product to support tourism not only in the city but also in the region.
➡️ This year, the event is realized with the financial support of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026 and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic with the support of the OOCR region Horná Nitra - Bojnice. Visitors will be able to spend a pleasant afternoon in Bojnice for free. Thank you! 🙏
🆕 This year's novelty is the mobile application of the Regional Tourism Organization - Traces of Experience that will intuitively guide you through the event and replace the current printed version of the map of individual legends.

➡️ What legends can you look forward to this year?
🟡 Women's rebellion - this year's novelty about the dispute between the Bojnice estate and the townspeople from nearby Prievidza.
🟤 Column of shame - a popular theater picture that draws on the theme from the booksheller's books from the 18th century and talks about small and large disputes among the townspeople.
🟢 Baťa in Bojnice - one of the first legends, which "fell asleep" for a while in 2023, returns again in the new cast, as a reminder of the incoming 100th anniversary of the Lipa Hotel - the longest functioning hotel in Bojnice.
⚪️ Anno Domini 1113 - The legend, which will take place this year in a new place, tells the story of the first written mention of Podhradie in Bojnice from 1113. However, it was not only transported by letter shipments and goods, but also different people with different fates.
🟣 Bojnice Páčracky - a comedy theater picture, through which viewers learn about what can be done and who can be "prefix" alongside the mating feathers.
⚫️ The reputation of a black lady - a mysterious woman in a black dress has always appeared not only in the chambers of the castle, but also in the Podhradie. While she was and what happened to her only a few remember. If you want to know, do not bypass the chateau.
🔵 Last Prepos - Like Baťa in Bojnice, so the legend of the Last Preštst was first released during the first year of the event in 2021. This year the legend "in the new dress" comes back to life for 150th anniversary of the birth of Bojnice Prepošt K. A. Medvecký. At the same time we want to pay tribute to the art of unforgettable actress Helenka Balážová.
🔴 Corvinus Rings - Old Prievidza's reputation talking about the unfortunate love of the young king to an ordinary girl, the creek of Queen Beatrix and the insidiousness of the castellan Póky.

▶ ️ 19.7. - Pre -company fashion show of costumes commented on Radka Tarabčíková, with folk music composed of Magdalena Vaňová and Ľuboš Hrdý - traditional clothing of Hornonitria.
▶ ️ 16.8. - Famous fire show performed by Falconers Aquila Bojnice - Black Fire.
