📓 The first film of the so-called Koker trilogy by Iranian film poet Abbas Kiarostami, telling stories from the small remote brick village of Koker in Gilan province. The touching civil odyssey of a little boy who accidentally took his classmate's notebook at school and needs to return it to him to avoid consequences in the form of a strict teacher, depicts the honest, guileless and pure world of children's heroes. Director Kiarostami sharpened the modest and peculiar microcosm of two neighboring villages and the relations of their inhabitants through the eyes of an honest boy Ahmed, who does not know where his classmate lives, but must fulfill his mission no matter what, into a pure cinematic diamond of everyday life with the impressive visual power of Italian neorealism.
