This year, too, we are organizing an inspiring discussion with which we want to enrich pharmacy students, pharmacists and the general public. 👩🏼‍🏫

Pharmacy is constantly evolving - and with it the questions of where exactly the competencies of a pharmacist and a doctor meet and diverge.

This year we therefore open the topic:
"Where does the role of the pharmacist end and the role of the doctor begin?"
Patients often do not distinguish between the powers of these professions, especially when consulting in the field of treatment. The discussion will therefore focus on the legislative, practical and communication boundaries between the pharmacist and the doctor - and will help to find an answer to how to provide help without exceeding one's competence.👩🏽‍🔬👩🏼‍⚕️💊

The discussion will be accompanied by Mgr. Erik Novanský, who with our guests will look at questions such as:
• How to react when a patient asks for "medical" advice?
• Can a pharmacist disagree with a prescription?
• Where are the boundaries of a pharmacist's autonomy in the law?
• What should the ideal cooperation between a doctor and a pharmacist look like?
