Interesting lecture on the history of the Ukrainian Academic Society "Sich" in Vienna-Do not miss! 400; Text -Align: Left; ">

legendary Ukrainian Student Society" Sich "in Vienna (1868 - 1947). It sounds famous, but you do not know virtually no details, except that many famous Ukrainians in the early twentieth century were its members?

Then you have a lecture from Oksana Yavorskaya, the head of the Ukrainian Library of St. Barbarians, which will take place on April 3 at 19:00 in Open Space Barbareum (Postgasse 8, 1010, Wien).

Oksana read the memories of former participants of Vienna Sich and prepares a presentation that will contain a minimum of chronological dates and boring facts. Instead, she will tell you what kind of people were the "Sich", where they had their own home organization, in which the environment lived and what difficulties they faced and what ideas prevailed among members of the society. Spoiler: Vienna also did not come due to their inconsistency with the requirements of the era. Moreover, no one canceled the network.
