About event
We invite you on 10.08.2025 at 18:00 to the concert of the Leniwiec band.
An event dedicated to Edward Stachura's memory.
Free admission.
Lazywiec plays a melodic, chad mixture of rock, reggae, ska, folk and punk enriched with sounds, accordion and trombone. There are usually involved, but sometimes also completely frivolous, texts. Music in their performance is not only strong slogans about matters that they consider to be right and important, but also fun, joke and humor.
In May 2001, after six years of activity, the band's debut album entitled: "With a shield or on a shield". After hearing this material, Jurek Owsiak invited
Leniwca to the Woodstock stop. The performance at this festival was an unforgettable event for the musicians, but Leniwiec musicians probably remember all concerts, even the small ones, especially in places as strange as prison, city swimming pool or flood dam.
From the performance at the Woodstock stop and the release of the first material, the lazy activity has gained a lot of pace. The band played over 1,000 concerts in 9 countries. The band is invited to the largest punk-rock festivals in Europe: Puntala (Finland), Antifest (Czech Republic), Punk am Ring (Germany).
In the years 2003 and 2004, more "Prejudice" and "Crazy Bros" albums were released by the passenger. The latter also appeared in the Czech Republic. Leniwiec's works were also found on over thirty compilations (also foreign).
In March 2008, the album "Ads in the sky" was released. The publisher was Wroclaw Lou & Rocked Boys, which is part of Rockers Publishing. The album was accompanied by the music video "Piekłoniebo".
In February 2011, the album "Road" is released by Mystic Production. It is still positive playing in punk, reggae and ska climate, but the team can surprise listeners. A surprise is certainly a new, energy -full sound, enriched with
female vocal, solo guitar, saxophone and trumpet. However, this is not the end of surprises-in addition to the punk-windae-ska climate typical for this band, you can hear strong influence of folk music on the album. The album is accompanied by the music video "Road" (the well -known cabaret Jacek Ziobro) and "Helena" performed in it. This time the musicians of the Jelenia Góra formation decided to surprise the recipients and face Edward Stachura's poetry. The work of this outstanding artist was inspired by the band to create music with an extremely rich style, but different from the popular arrangement of Stachura lyrics available on the Polish music market. The album contains both strong, rock songs (introit) and folk ballads (fogs have fallen, a new day gets up) You can also hear typical and checked for Leniwiec Style, i.e. punk-rock (song for ahead), reggae (confiteor) and ska (crops will not dispose of us). Everything together is a great mixture, sometimes chad and hit, sometimes lively and rocking, and sometimes moody and reflective. The value of the entire undertaking increases the participation of well -known guests. The team supported, among others Robert Szymański (Sex Bomba), Dominik "Harry" Pyrzyn (The Analogs), Jacek "Dżeki" Stęszewski (End of the World), Łukasz "Zielony" Zieliński (Virgin Snatch) and Marta "Nadia" Adamowicz (Naaman).
In 2016, the seventh studio album "Raj" appears. Slightly milder music still connects with an important and interesting message. The album perfectly received by music critics.
In 2024 the first singles announcing the new album appear. The Loch Lomond song has a great reception among listeners (including the first place on the charts of the musical radio).
