About event
You have just decided to enter the forest and let it truly embrace you. An imaginary gate to the world of nature opens and you gradually succumb to its natural rhythms, smells, sounds and touches. The deeper you go, the more you forget to control your direction and let yourself be led.
Life surrounded by nature brought to the work of Lenka Falušiová the central theme of her works, namely the motif of the deep forest. At the same time, this way of living and perceiving enables her to meet animals repeatedly. Artworks are not inspired by one specific place. They are a collection of the author's memories, whose new compositions create a unique forest environment.
The exhibition entitled Potkala jsem seba v lese presents a cycle of the author's most current artworks in various formats and three basic artistic techniques: large-format ink drawing and depth prints, specifically mezzotint and line etching.
