Guards
Where is the forest , there is a temple for Lenka Falušiová. From childhood, he learns to read its internal order, to communicate with the local communities, both during physical visits and in his own imagination. He spends a significant part of the day there. He watches silently. It persists. And like nowhere else, it merges with nature.
When resting in the forest, Lenka Falušiová turns especially to the trees. He considers them to be guardians of what is happening there. Branching from roots to crowns determines the movement of everything that enters the forest. Man, beast, light, wind or water are under their protection and shadow, and the shadows there have many different forms.
We are talking about events that people know more from fairy tales and fantasy stories, but for Lenka Falušiová they are real. She fills the pages of her diaries with them and is also inspired by them when creating her paintings.
Once she was chased into the rocks by a dark figure. When she took Lenka by the shoulder, it turned out that she was fortunately only from a dream. However, when Lenka woke up with a start, a flock of crows was cawing on the bushes outside the windows of her room. Another time, she was observed from afar by a shape-shifting, indeterminate mythical creature that, upon coming closer, definitively transformed into just an old twisted root. And she also has countless "accidental" encounters with wildlife, whether it's a white doe or hundreds of butterflies, for which she momentarily became a flower.
The mentioned stories have such a strong atmosphere that one prefers fantasy to their rational explanation. And Lenka Falušiová's latest creation is exactly like that. He draws and paints on a real basis, but not for imitation, which he has mastered very well. For years, she got to know the variety of branches, needles, cones, leaves, stone and other natural things so that she could marry them. Instead of the structures themselves, he looks for something more in them - atmosphere and beings - the spirit of the forest. And with the help of memories and diary entries, he creates intuitively abstract scenery that conveys the forest as such a complex environment that the human imagination finds itself at the edge of its possibilities.
