About event
OPENING & Performance: 5.8.2025, 19:00
Come and experience a joint work by a graduate of the studio of fashion creation and a student of the glass studio, which opens the question about the essence of intimacy in relation to the human body.
What do we consider in the context of our own physical side as truly intimate? Is it intimacy in the detection of the human body, or is it the opposite of the opposite? And is it at all in the degree of veiled, or is it rather fragile situated in the way I see and am I seen?
Clothing - as a medium between the body and the world - can be just what directs the view and visible forms of proximity. Rather than a functional clothing, the work of the artistic couple is by its contemplative nature closer to the tradition of conceptual fashion. In a performative act at the opening of the exhibition, after removal from the body of the performer and performer becomes an artifact, recording an intimate event that took place between the body, material and the second view. It becomes a sculpture, an existing work of art (in the bowels of the Prague metro). Like the medium itself, which embodies it. Transparent materials make this space more visible among in which intimacy occurs, illusively reveals a content that - if it is to exist - must be hidden.
