The "Ady tour" continues
In 2024, the audience can see the highly successful concert in Dunaszerdahely, Gúta and Fülek. . The soloists are accompanied on stage by the 45-member Dunamente symphony orchestra, musicians of the Slovak National Theater opera, conducted by Dr. Tamás Cseh. A real international co-production, as the musicians are Slovak, Hungarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Loretta Horváth from Győr, Virág Mórocz, Károly Tóth and Dániel Szebellai are our talented young artists from Hungary, and the composer is Ady's friend from Partium, Pető Zoltán Margittai. It was an important aspect for us to invite talented young Hungarian artists and to create the opportunity for them to introduce themselves in such a large-scale production.
The concert is a tribute to Endre Ady's poetry, which is as relevant today as it was a hundred years ago. We love, hate, suffer and rejoice in the same way. One of the main lines of Endre Ady's poetry is the search for God, the question of finding one's homeland. It guides us all the way from birth, through the ups and downs of passions, through suffering to death.
And how does music come here? The simplest answer to this is that the music is in it, some hear it and some don't. But as soon as he speaks, everyone feels and understands. Because it's Universal. Like a nursery rhyme, a mantra that our grandmother hummed before falling asleep, which calms us down, which leads us home. The concert is a true journey of the soul, which leads from birth through catharsis to silence.
