About event
☘️ 1. A concert of the summer part of the chamber music festival in the house and garden of the Albrecht House of Domus & Hortus Artis 2025
🎵 Jean-Féry Rebel "Le Père" was a pioneer and genius of "descriptive" instrumental music. He was a miraculous child and from his eight years of pupil Lully. Thanks to his success, the great admirer of Corelli, a talented violinist, a chicbalist and conductor, got to the most important music positions in the royal court and opera. Today, it is known mainly for the harmonious courage of his two ballets Les Caractes de la Danse and Les Éléments. Less well-known but equally interesting are his forest Plaisirs Champhatos presented in the Paris Opera, full of orchestral effects reminiscent of the period images of Jean-Antoina Watteau. Violin, Ján Gréner Viola, Michaela Čibová Violončelo, Ján Prievozník Violone, Peter Guľas Čembalo
🎼 program
Jean Marie Leclair (1697-1764): SCYL Caractères de la Danse
