The Iranava ensemble opens the afternoon full of stories with a concert on the garden stage.
The quartet for the Iranian composer and multi -instrumentalist Yaser Bayat brings traditional Iranian instruments such as Kamancheh, Setar, Tombak and DAF into an intercultural dialogue, among other things with Indian music, Brazilian rhythms, jazz and contemporary Smalls.
After the concert, ten Berlin author read: Inside on the cultural island from their books on the subject of fundamental rights. At the same time. For almost three hours. On the meadows, on the raised beds, in the beer garden, at the Litfaßs column. Jewish or Muslim topics are the focus here as well as questions about freedom, self -determination and social participation. Queere texts form a special focus on the current debate about the protection of discrimination in the Basic Law.
The visitors can stroll from the ward to station and exciting, funny or sentimental stories from the mouths of those who have conceived or experienced. (Ed.)
