**What’s it about?**
Discover the power of words – in community. In this open group, we read short literary texts together - poems, microtexts or excerpts from longer works - and let them invite us to write.
After reading together, we take time to reflect and exchange ideas. We then write side by side for 20-30 minutes - inspired by individual words, sentences or what is currently moving us.
The focus is not on technical aspects, but on personal experience, the feeling of connection and the sparks that words can ignite in us - especially for people who have had stressful experiences and everyone who is looking for new perspectives.
If you want, you can share the text that emerged during the session at the end - just listening is just as welcome. Sharing is always voluntary.

**About the group leader**
**[Ingrid E. Johnson](https://ingridejohnson.com/de)** is German-American, founder of RECASAS and peer support specialist.
Reading and writing helped her even through difficult times. For her, writing in community means a different source of strength and inspiration - and this is exactly the experience she wants to make possible.
