About event
How do you say goodbye to the parents?
A son - world -famous writer - accompanies his dying father, a passionate smoker and gardener, during his last months. Even this does not make it seriously ill from sowing and weeding. The garden in the Bulgarian village survives his death.
With this homage to his father, Georgi Gospodinov wrote his most personal book-about a collapsing world, the consolation of storytelling and the first tulips in spring. Metschurat
The event takes place in Bulgarisch with simultaneous translation into German.
A cooperation from the International Literature Festival Berlin, Radio 3 from RBB and the literary podcast "Places and Words".
Admission is free.
