Alex M. Gastel, pronoun (dey/denen) is the author of the book: As in my ID card … stood. Dey often writes angry, sometimes hot, mostly even without impostor syndrome. Alex lives in Wedding with his nest partner and cat and gives workshops on empowerment, creative writing, discrimination-sensitive language and other anti-discrimination topics from a queer perspective. Dey once studied linguistics and today uses the knowledge from that primarily to expose bullshit arguments from linguistic conservatives. In his private life, Alex enjoys climbing mountain peaks and setting board game victory point records.
