Ancient and charming Jewish wedding tunes as well as unique Yiddish songs. The Flying Rabbi is a five-member ensemble playing klezmer - i.e. the traditional instrumental music of Eastern European Jews, which was at its peak at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The starting point of his work is traditional sound and a folkloristic approach, while the goal is contemporary and at the same time timeless music. In his work, instrumental klezmer intertwines with songs in Yiddish and other languages, to which the band creates its own texts through translation, which, true to the tradition of Yiddish folklore, sparklingly reflect our time. The band has performed (since its founding in 2001) hundreds of concerts throughout the Czech Republic and performed in Europe, the USA and Morocco.
