About event
🧸 Intensive summer adaptation
A gentle step towards kindergarten
📅 Date: 17. 8. – 21. 8. 2026
🕗 Time: 8:00 – 12:00
👧👦 Age: 2.5 – 4.5 years
📍 Place: Materské centrum Pastierik, Tomášikova 35, Košice
💶 Allowance: €129 / week
We invite children to a gentle and kind adaptation week, which will prepare them for kindergarten through play, routine, joint activities and safe testing of new situations. 💛
In a peaceful environment, children will experience the everyday moments that await them in kindergarten — separation from their parents, staying in a group, a joint program, communication, simple rules and self-service.
Every day will bring small experiences that gradually add up to greater confidence. Children will discover a new environment, learn to function in a group and experience the joy of each mastered step.
✨ Program during the week:
👕 self-service activities such as dressing and dining
🟡 joint activities in a circle
🤝 communication and cooperation with children
🌱 responding to instructions and simple rules
🤸 movement, play and being outside
🎨 age-appropriate creative and playful activities
Program is built so that children experience success, acceptance and the joy of gradual independence.
🌟 What children will experience:
🏡 greater security in a new environment
💛 calm separation management
🥄 basic daily situations with ease
👧👦 first experiences with a group of peers
🌿 positive attitude towards the kindergarten regime
🥪 Diet: children bring their own lunch and drinking
👧👦 For whom the camp is suitable:
For children who are waiting to start kindergarten and want to experience it in advance — safely, gradually and with support.
In the event that the child needs a greater degree of support or a special pedagogical approach, we reserve the right to recommend inclusion in the Summer Without Borders camp.
