Tomáš, who finds himself in a dangerous duel between the editors and the secret services, comes to the prestigious radio editorial office. There are a compromising recording and the lives of all. The main character faces a difficult choice: to sacrifice a brother or colleagues fighting the truth? The new film Jiří Mál Wave is made according to the previously unpublished real stories of journalists from Czechoslovak Radio. Their determination to bring independent news at all costs is still inspired today…
In the famous editorial office of the international life of Czechoslovak Radio, the brave journalists - celebrities of their time, whose posters are decorated with the walls of many households - are working under the leadership of Milan Weiner. Among the icons of Viera Poviečková, Luboš Dobrovský or Jiří Dienstbier, the young man Tomáš comes. However, he does not know that local editors are in the viewfinder of the secret services that bothers free and uncensored radio broadcasting. These will be interested in the activities of the editorial office even more when a compromising recording appears, whose broadcast can change the whole history. Time is running out, tension rises, you need to act. Tomáš will protect his younger orphaned brother or, along with other colleagues, will write into history and change the fate of the country? 25 €)
