About event
🎬 The summer cinema is part of the Inclusion Film Festival project, the aim of which is to approach the topics of inclusion, diversity and mutual understanding through films and discussions. Each evening will bring a unique film story and a meeting with guests who will offer a new perspective on the world around us.
♿ At the same time, we strive to make Summer Cinemas accessible to the widest possible audience. Screenings will be accessible to people using wheelchairs, and selected dates will be supplemented with measures for people with hearing or visual impairments. Thanks to the subtitles, the films will also be accessible to foreign visitors.
ℹ️ Each screening offers different accessibility measures. You can find information about this term in the Accessibility section below.
🎥 When dreams have no boundaries
🌟 The summer cinema will present the Czech-Slovak comedy Dream Team directed by Jonáš Karásek, which with humor, but also with sensitivity, opens up the topic of sports, health handicaps and parental love.
🏀 Marek (Martin Hofmann) is an unsuccessful basketball coach whose son with a handicap dreams of participating in the Paralympics in Rio. When he fails to put together a team of athletes with disabilities, he resorts to fraud and, under the influence of a slightly crazy neighbor (Jakub Prachař), hires healthy basketball players to pretend to be disabled.
🌴 Together with his unsuspecting wife (Petra Polnišová), he sets out with his "dream team" to Rio, where he only lives under the hot Brazilian sun he realizes that karma is catching up with him and that even the best sports performance may not be enough for him to escape it.
❤️ The film Dream Team is not only full of crazy comic situations, but also talks about personal honor, parental love and how far a person is willing to go to make his child's dream come true.
🎤 Before the screening, there will be a discussion with director Jonáš Karásk, actress Petra Polnišová and Juraj Brock. The discussion will be moderated by Anton Šulík.
