From Karlovy Vary straight to Prešov!
An impressive drama starring Aňa Geislerová opens an unresolved chapter in Czechoslovak history, when the possibility of having children was decided by the state. In the mid-1980s, the elegant doctor Ingrid works in a remote district hospital. Gripped by an exhausting marriage and a stagnant career, she devotes most of her time to her patients. It brings children into the world and ends unwanted pregnancies. He also performs sterilizations on Romani women - without them fully understanding their consequences. A new friendship with the young and immediate paramedic Agatha forces Ingrid to see things in a different light. Will this new bond disrupt the certainties of her stagnant life?
