Letné kino v Átriu - Vlny

What power does the human voice have on the waves of ether? The riveting film by Jiří Már, which was nominated for an Oscar in 2024, transmits viewers to the atmosphere of Prague Spring and August 1968. A compromising recording can change history. Do you sacrifice your family for your homeland? The film captures the power of the word and the courage of people who have changed society through broadcasting. It reveals the moral dilemmas and tension of the time before the invasion of the occupation troops. This is one of the reasons why we are reflected in the 57th anniversary of the Warsaw Pact invasion of the Warsaw Pact troops, which was the largest armed action in Europe since the end of World War II. According to the latest research, at least 108 people died as a result of the occupation in Czechoslovakia, of which 37 in Slovakia, hundreds were hardly wounded. The occupation stopped the democratization process and slowly started normalization that canceled all the achievements of socialism with a human face. Mádl
