About event
SUMMER CINEMA IN THE HOUSE OF MUSIC 🎬✨
We invite you to a series of movie nights that will make your summer evenings more pleasant! Every second Wednesday in the summer, we have prepared a selection of film stories for you in the magical premises of the House of Music. 🏰
🗓️ 7/8 | Gloria
In singer-songwriter Margherita Vicario's beautiful and moving musical, a group of marginalized young women in 18th-century Venice try to find freedom through their musical talents.
🗓️ 21. 7. | 19:00 | Recording from the National Opera in Paris: Giacomo Puccini - Bohéma
Experience a unique opera evening under the stars. The touching love story of the poet Rodolfo and the gentle Mimi comes in an original, visually and musically enthralling sci-fi adaptation by director Claus Guth. The screening takes place in cooperation with the French Institute in Slovakia. (Language: IT + English subtitles).
🗓️ 22. 7. | A cat odyssey
The world seems to be coming to an end, filled with remnants of human presence. The cat is a solitary animal, but when her home is destroyed by a great flood, she finds refuge on a ship inhabited by different species, with whom she must bond despite their differences.
🗓️ 5. 8. | Ballroom
Dance movements, music and fashion seamlessly capture the transformations of time in a Parisian ballroom across fifty years of its history.
🗓️ 19. 8. | Bolero
In 1928 in Paris, choreographer Ida Rubinstein ordered music for her next ballet from Maurice Ravel. The composer, who is currently going through a creative crisis, looks back on his life experiences and devotes himself fully to the creation of an absolute masterpiece - Bolero.
