Donor
When people have a free choice… they choose badly. People do not know suffering, war, violence, fear or pain. The basis of the world is monotony: the same houses, the same clothes, the same families.
On the outskirts of the Community lives the only holder and guardian of all true memories of humanity - Donor (Jeff Bridges). Through Jonas, it gets what no one else can know - the truth about the real life and experience of previous generations.
Jonas begins to understand that his community lives in illusion enough and safety at the cost of the absence of emotions and choices. People do not feel emotions, love, passion, friendship, do not perceive colors. The feeling of harmony is created artificially.
Jonas discovers the darkest pages of the utopian world. Everyone in the community is deprived of all bad memories and experiences using everyday injections. Their world is a scam, paid daily by the death of uncomfortable people, in favor of managed existence. The face of this fact is no longer able to live as before. He faces a difficult decision not only of his own being, but also about the future of the world ... Jonasa played the rising star Brenton Thwaites. The film will perform alongside the giants of the silver canvas - Jeff Bridges (Thron: Legacy, Iron Man), Meryl Streep (Iron Lady, Mamma Mia!, Devil wears Prada) and Katie Holmes (Batman starts, telephone booth). Directed by Phillip Noyce (Salt, Silent American, Bone Collector).
