Letní ateliér 10–13 let: Rostlinopis aneb Herbarium Mysticum

Participants can immerse themselves in the world of medieval paintings and discover the mysterious language of plants. They will look for all the traces left by the master painters with the diligence of a detective - observe them, reveal their meaning and analyze them with artistic-dramatic techniques. In the studio of St. Agnes Monastery, they gradually let a magical botanical kingdom grow, where imagination germinates faster than radish seeds. And maybe they will even hear the grass grow.

Teachers Andrea Jeřábková and Denisa Sedláková will accompany you through the studio. The studio takes place in the exhibition, architecture, gardens and studio of the Monastery of St. Agnes of Česká and surroundings.

Mgr. Andrea Jeřábková is a graduate of the field of education and interpretation of cultural heritage at PedF UK, who specializes in gallery pedagogy. She is an actress and the author of theater plays for children in the theater company AndMar. At NGP, she works as a lecturer in old art exhibitions. He uses elements of drama education and dramatization of stories for his teaching work.  

MgA. Denisa Sedláková graduated from the VŠUP (UMPRUM) in Prague and works as a freelancer in designer jewelry. He designs interactive exhibitions and writes children's publications. When working with children, she likes to use her craft experience and experiment with different materials. She also works at the Postal Museum as a lecturer, curator and artist, leads workshops and programs for the public and schools.
