About event

A musical sound walk through various places in Fortna at the end of summer.

🎶 Clarinets, double bass and violins of the trio Romanovská Tichý Hrubý will lure us from one corner to another with their tones and accompany us through a summer afternoon. Will the echoes of their Swiss summer resonate with Fortuna? Will the experiences of your summer trips match? Come and find out.

👣 The sound walk will last about an hour, after which you will have the opportunity to spend a moment of the early summer evening with a glass in the garden.

👐 Admission is voluntary on the spot.

Trio Romanovská Tichý Hrubý plays in the composition of Anna Romanovská (violin and koto), Petr Tichý (double bass) and Michal Hrubý (clarinets, saxophone and flutes). He is mainly devoted to free improvisation. This August, they are going to a creative residency in Poschiavo, Switzerland, and a week later in Fortna, they will make the most of it.

The musicians themselves and the musical instruments they use for improvisation have very different musical backgrounds. Anna Romanovská Fliegerová has a classical musical education, and she is certainly strongly influenced by contemporary music, in whose territory she mainly moves. The Japanese thirteen-string zither called a koto, which Anna plays, brings an oriental touch to the overall sound. Petr Tichý, whose musical foundations were laid by studying jazz double bass at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and at the jazz department of Prague's HAMU, with his multi-genre approach to music, also acknowledges his roots in folklore, folklore and folk. Michal Hrubý and his punk-folk music base, extended by extraordinary musical knowledge across centuries and musical styles, congenially complement the whole with the necessary element of the unexpected.
