💥 💥 💥The next year of the successful Summer Art Symposium at the Villa Pellé Gallery is here! This year we extended it to 5 days and called it ✍🏻 Summer graphic workshop - experiments with paper! At the workshop, from Monday to Friday, we will devote ourselves to various experiments with paper and printing.
This year, at the summer graphics workshop, we will try out what it is like to be a graphic artist and immerse ourselves in the world of visual creation. In five days we will get to know paper - from its production to printing without modern tools 🖌️. We will try techniques such as linocut, monotype or dry needle.
🧪 We will also explore experimental graphics such as cyanotype and working with shadows and image composition. 🗒️ We will create our own paper and primitive drawing aids, original large-format works and discover new creative possibilities. At the end, we will organize a vernissage and present an exhibition of works for which I will print my own tickets.
craft, creation of the first illustrations: introduction to history, familiarization with the principle of printing. Some of the graphic techniques: linocut, drypoint, monotype
📍 Day 4 – Experimental graphics: cyanotypes, print from nature on textile
📍 Day 5 – Preparation of the joint exhibition – tickets, flyers, poster and final opening for parents
🔺Practical info:
The art symposium is suitable for children aged 7-13 unaccompanied by parents. The program takes place from 09:30 to 13:00 in the premises of the Villa Pellé Gallery, in case of good weather on the terrace and in the garden of the gallery. We recommend suitable work clothes, drinks and snacks. All tools and materials are included in the price. Children can take their creations home. At the end of the last day of the symposium, we cordially invite parents to the opening of a joint exhibition of works.
Price: CZK 2,480 (5 days, note the change compared to last year, which lasted only 4 days)
