After 20 days in Mariupol, Oscar-winning director Mstyslav Chernov rewrites the boundaries of war documentary. From the front line, it captures not only the bitter aftertaste of Pyrrhic victory in the scorched earth, but above all the absorbing images of war as a nightmare from which one cannot wake up
