Colin (Harry Melling) lives a routine life in a London suburb. His days are filled with work, in the evenings he performs in a bar with a singing group, and there is no shortage of romantic adventures. But that changes when the shy Colin is approached in a bar by Ray (Alexander Skarsgård), a mysteriously seductive member of a biker gang. However, Ray is not looking for a conventional relationship. Harry Lighton's directorial debut tells with gentle humor a tender love story in a BDSM environment, shrouded in the noise of high-revving bloated machines. The film has been resonating strongly ever since its release at the Cannes festival, where it won the award for best screenplay.
