Up in the sky, in the valley I tells the story of fifteen-year-old Enrique, who grows up with his grandmother in a forgotten Slovak village, while his mother Martina works in a distant city and rarely finds time to visit her son.
The summer is passing slowly and the lanky Enrique shortens the wait for his mother by riding babes and playing pranks with his friends.
At the same time, she dutifully fulfills her mother's duties - at first without question, but she soon begins to suspect that they are not as innocent as they seem.
Gossip about Martina spreads in the village and Enrique gradually begins to doubt the image he has created of his mother. (Aerofilms)
