About event
Slow down, pick up a pen and let the writing do the talking. The summer series of calligraphy meetings offers space for creation, concentration and the subtle joy of detail - for both beginners and advanced students.
The third year of workshops will be led by calligrapher and lecturer Janka Findlová, who combines traditional and modern calligraphy with an emphasis on precision and feeling for the material. In addition to workshops, she also deals with wedding projects and various celebrations.
💶 All tools are included in the workshop price of €20.
⌚ Duration approx. 2.5 hours. always from 17:00
🏠 DK Kramáre, Stromová 18
📧 Required registration: [email protected]
🟡14.07.2026 from 17:00, DK Kramáre, Calligraphy: Travel notebook
ℹ️Do you want to keep memories of summer experiences? You will create your own notebook in which you can write, draw and stick small memories during your travels.
🟡28.07.2026 | Calligraphy: Illumination of an astrological sign
ℹ️Do you admire the beautifully decorated (illuminated) initial letters in old history books? We are inspired by them and create our own image of an astrological sign.
🟡11.08.2026 | DK Kramáre, Calligraphy: Embossing
ℹ️Do you remember last year's blackboards, which were such a success? This time we will create similar quotes on handmade paper and learn to create pictograms using embossing.
🟡25.08.2026 | DK Kramáre, Calligraphy: Parchment lamps
ℹ️Summer is slowly ending, in autumn the days will be a little shorter, but we will prepare. We will make a lamp from parchment paper with a quote on it, which, in addition to the light, will bring a good mood in the dry autumn evenings.
