Slovak feature-length drama about coming of age, about the search for answers to life's questions, about family relationships and one summer and a friendship that will remain with us for a lifetime. A film about the young, for the young and from the young, by the only 15-year-old director Dávid Tibor Durdjak. The author combines youthful enthusiasm with professionalism from the world of acting and film editing.
The story of seventeen-year-old Lucas, who grew up with his grandmother and after thirteen years finds himself with his estranged father Peter, but cannot find a common language with him. In an unfamiliar environment, he gradually makes new friendships and meets Charlotte, a girl with a different outlook on life, who will help him discover new perspectives and walk the path to reconciliation, understanding and self-acceptance. The film offers an intimate narrative that builds on strong emotions, authentic characters and the atmosphere of coming of age. It is intended for viewers who appreciate deeper stories and can perceive what is hidden under the surface of words.
