A great conversational comedy brilliantly balancing on the fine line of merciful truth and merciless lies. Two married couples and a lot of lies in the name of truth. How much do we lie to ourselves and our loved ones? Are we protecting those we care about, or rather ourselves? And is it always worth telling the truth or is it more profitable to lie? "If everyone told the truth, there wouldn't be a single couple left on Earth."
A husband and wife, Alice and Paul, are waiting for their best friends, a harmonious couple, Laurence and Michel, for dinner. But Alice is like a thorn in the side and asks Paul to cancel the dinner in a hurry. Shortly before that, she saw Michel kissing a strange woman on the street. While Alice
is convinced that Michel's wife should know the truth, Paul insists on respectful silence. However, Alice is not going to lie to her friend and insists that Paul cancel the dinner even more quickly. But it's too late! Guests are already ringing the doorbell…
