Limboski & Rev. Ray
Event by: Hafenbar Tegel
Location: Hafenbar Tegel, Wilkestraße 1-5, Berlin - Bezirk Reinickendorf
About event
Limboski & Rev. Ray are a Berlin-based artist duo. Michal Limboski started his musical journey in Poland and released a total of 8 albums. After being signed by Sony Music in 2016, he released two albums that established him as an alternative pop artist in Poland.
Raymond Thompson, also known as Rev.Ray, is from New York City, traveled the world and interpreted gospel, blues and pop. He has shared the stage with the likes of Mariah Carey and BB King and recently played on Sarah Connor's "Heart Strength" tour.
This songwriting duo presents a unique musical approach informed by their cultural roots . Limboski & Rev. Ray emerged from the hope that music can connect cultures, despite their differences. In the current times, this idea becomes more important.
Surprisingly, making music together not only led to similarities, but also to them challenging each other to become better artists. This is how Limboski & Rev. Ray came into being. The album “Duality” combines alternative elements from folk, gospel and soul, questioning the conventions and sometimes the boundaries of music.
With this album we have created music that we believe reaches the heights and depths of life - the challenges, the love and the joys - goes through.
