We cordially invite you to the opening ceremony of the exhibition No/forget the paintings of the painter Linda Gurecká, which will take place on Monday, May 5 at 18:00 at the Café & Art-N-CofEE Gallery.
The curator of the exhibition is PhDr. Renáta Mužíková, PhD. Karel Stretti. The painter has been working with the theme of the landscape from the beginning. Gradually, there is an abstract form of portraits of trees set in the landscape. The tree bark is a structural abstraction that offers an incredible diversity in detail. The longitudinal format of the images refers to modern architecture and specific window openings or to the holes of the shooting in hunting sites. In a follow -up series of paintings, the author transmits abstraction to the background, on which the detail of animals crawls in their impressive positions, whether hunting or vigilance. The animals seem to spoil the painters the intention to paint an abstract landscape by entering the shot ... It is dealt with with the issue with ease and live colors always gives heavy topics the necessary optimism.
Another strong topic is the connection of our lives with previous generations. Their, never ending and at the same time final, presence in our lives. The author captures memories evoked by objects or activities that generates. Whether it is the Czech National Sport Mushrooming, the forest behind the cottage where it went with the grandfather on the pioneer or the skin of the beds with my grandmother. In these paintings, it also encounters the incompatibility of the old generation with a pre -public time. In the last paintings called Czechoslovak Freedom, he remembers the dreams of better life beyond the borders in the context with the time of the absolute Covid Lockdown. At the moments when we were not allowed anywhere and we had to do with almost. Artifacts as triggers of childhood memories are set in the background paintings, made up of an abstracted American advertisement, symbolizing an imaginary, happy life.

Linda Gurecká exhibited, among other things, in the Plasy Monastery, in the Gavu Gallery in Prague, in the Dobříš gallery, in the Kotelna in Říčany ... The author uses many years of study technicians of old masters, from which she likes to speak freely in her own way. He uses watercolor and pastel for his sketching, paintings on canvas and boards are painted with oil paints, sometimes in combination with acrylic, spray or embroidery. Linda Gurecká paintings are represented in domestic and international private collections.
