Miroslav Valeš is a linguist who works at the Technical University of Liberec. He focuses on research and documentation of minority languages ​​in Europe and North and South America. He stayed for a long time between Shuary and Wampis on the border between Ecuador and Peru. Based on linguistic interviews, he published studies on phonetics and variation of their language. Ecuador rode a bike from north to south.
