Daniel Tércio presents the book, written by him, published as part of the Linhas de Tensão project. Art, Dance and Ecology, which adopts as its premise the statement coined by Timothy Morton, “all art is ecological”. In the search for the malleability of the relational lines between humans and non-humans, lines of tension emerge on which artists and the things they create and exhibit are balanced. Your contributions become essential for building worlds and giving meaning to the world. References to shows, paintings, literary works, films, etc. emerge throughout the text. The Tension Lines project. Art, Dance and Ecology is organized in two stages: the launch of a book and the holding of workshops. The book, distributed free of charge by a network of cultural institutions, theaters, and associations, is organized into twelve essays: forest; plankton and whales; aggression and violence; transform; transport; sleep and dream; cultivate-the-wisdom-of-original-peoples; wild-being; enchant-resonate; what is not yet but could be; actions for 2028; and refound cities. The book is also the main stimulus for holding short-term workshops to activate the imagination.

With the presence of Ana Godinho (Philosopher) and José Gil (Philosopher) and Daniel Tércio (author).

Copies of the book will be distributed free of charge to those present at the launch and to those registered at the workshop.

In conjunction with the edition of the book, the a free entry workshop with Daniel Tércio and Pedro Ramos (choreographer and performer).
