About event
The Lisbon Poetry Orchestra (LPO) is a multidisciplinary collective of artists who invite other artists to celebrate and interpret poetry in a truly unique journey towards the discovery and reinvention of the spoken word.
After the debut album "Poetas Portugueses de Agora", LPO presents “Os Surrealistas”, an album dedicated to a group of poets who, in a gray Portugal, realized the urgency of freedom. It is from the extraordinary legacy of this artistic movement that the LPO seeks inspirational material to create an album, a book and a show that is also a journey through the work of some of its most illustrious representatives.
This concert, taking place on December 3rd at Teatro Maria Matos, is the culmination of the “Os Surrealistas” tour and will include some surprises, paving the way for a new year and a new LPO show.
