Slovak writer Mária Lazárová wrote a story that takes place in the inhospitable, wild taiga. There, the little girl Hani lives with her grandfather. One day, an injured fox cub is found and Hani convinces the grandfather to take it home. A strong bond of friendship develops between the rainbow-eyed fox and the little girl. An unusual camaraderie and a fox among the people in the village will cause a great hostile frenzy. The fox is about life. But Hani does not give up so easily.
Hani's story is a timeless metaphor about the power of a child's truth, empathy and courage in a world that is often closed in fear and prejudice. The production tries to open a discussion about ecological sustainability, the truth in the age of misinformation and the value of interpersonal solidarity.
The creation of the production was supported from public resources by the Art Support Fund.
Admission €8.
