About event
Literary walks in Bratislava is a concept combining educational literary activities (lectures) with commented tours of the city, which have become a sought -after format in recent years. The reason is that Bratislava has two faces in the work of the authors. The first one can see in the texts of the interwar period, who were born in the city, binds their Bratislava (Pozsony) a strong emotional bond, the space of their stories is especially the Old Town. The second one emerges from the texts of the authors who, after World War II, came to the city as a curious and eager country, ready to gain recognition and the place of their first meeting with Bratislava was most often the station, their living space, Old Town Subbing and later new settlements. Individual stops walks focus mainly on those places where these two faces are reminiscent of each other (convent, Michalská gate, Old Town Hall, Hviezdoslav Square, Kapitulská). The last stop will be the Danube embankment near Vydrice. Accompanying in Slovak. href = "https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1faipqlsdfyx7GCEWG8D3WMIUFPE7SD-9C7V0W3CT2VC8KYLF3QCA/ViewForm"> form .
