Literary evening on 26 February 2025 at the Průhon Cultural Center will be presented by the writer Bianka Bell, who is musically supported by her husband Adrian T. Bell. The evening will be accompanied by writer Iva Hadj Moussa. On the site of autographing and selling books.
Bianca Bell is a Czech writer with Bulgarian roots. She graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and today she makes a living as a translator and interpreter from English.
He is the author of seven novels and two short story collections. The most famous of them - Lake (2016) - won the Magnesia Litera Awards for the Book of the Year, the European Union Award for Literature and in the English Translation and the EBRD Literary Prize and was published in 25 languages. The lake was included in the Czech literary canon after 1989, which is a list of the most important Czech books in the period of thirty years since the Velvet Revolution. > Adrian T. Bell is a musician from Newcastle with a characteristic and exceptional bass baritone, long -term seated in The Czech Republic. Originally he was a military naval navigator and spent the war of Falkland, when he also began writing his first songs. He studied landscape architecture, but then moved to the Czech Republic, where he married a Czech, with whom he has three children. Adrian is an advertising creative and painter who had several exhibitions. He became famous with The Prostitutes, with which he released three albums. His first solo Different World won the Apollo Award as the Best Album of the Year 2014.
