About event
The first April Literary Club will be dedicated to poetry novelties: postcards by Alfred Tóth and crossing the front line by Alena Brindová.
The debut of a young award -winning poet Alfred Tóth's postcard is re -discovered by the tradition of ecfrastic writing, in which the act of imagination reaches the story behind the scene or the scene of a work of art. In postcards, the author writes poems to his friends on postcards from tourist places and galleries from the 1970s and 1980s, which they choose. Classical culture is mixed here with scenes from the socialist cruise site Sochi from a series of tourist postcards to play the eternal dramas of life and death, love and betrayal. However, innovative, innovative, multi -layer image of the internal and partner match, which becomes part of the complex metaphor of the "front line", approaches the ancient theme of love. The depiction in the book is sometimes literal and historically documentary, as it is preserved by collective memory, sometimes more private, relating to a pair of lovers who, like the rival parties, tact, seeking one to the other and defending themselves when they feel threatened.
The establishment of public sources event was supported by the Art Support Fund. The partners of the event are the Bratislava Foundation, Staré Mesto, National Trust n. o. and Roma's house.
