About event
The program of the Contemporary Literature Reading Room will be closed by a presentation of the works of young authors, which was supposed to take place on March 31. However, we decided together to move this meeting and support both independent and established culture at the protest march in Bratislava, which took place at the same time.
At the Literary Lab in April, several new creators from different corners of Slovakia will read their texts - we will welcome Nina Bičanová, Diana Melničáková, Eliška Pokorná, Daniella Rain and Tímea Strkáčová. As part of the presentation, they will have the opportunity to confront their work with the audience, explore different genres and topics, expand creative boundaries, open up important questions, stimulate imagination and inspire each other.
Mestské divadlo Žilina is a young theater that supports new texts and beginning creators. The Contemporary Literature Reading Room project is aimed not only at supporting renowned authors, but also at creating opportunities for young talents with a love for writing and literary creation, who can regularly present themselves in this space.
