Georgia - Putin's next Goal
Russia threatens and destroys democracy and freedom worldwide. Those in power around Putin promote populist and criminal groups, infiltrate the media, and manipulate history.
Nowhere is this more successful than in Georgia. One of Putin's next goals is to steer the country away from the European path and reintegrate it into Russia's sphere of influence.

Gesine Dornblüth and Thomas Franke have been traveling to Georgia for decades and talk about the people and the political situation. They take us to a country that has been fighting for freedom for centuries and is recently fearing for its independence again. Like a magnifying glass, Georgia shows what can seriously endanger even established democracies. The
fight for freedom is in full swing.
