ULI SAILOR PUNKROCK PIANO
BETTER DIFFERENT TOUR 2026
Punk rock piano concert in BADEHAUS
We start again from the beginning, the story is worth telling: Uli Sailor was born in the year of punk rock, 1977, in the westernmost part of Germany. In 1993 he founded his first band, the D-Sailors, in the small town of Jülich. The skate punkers fell into a punk revival sparked by bands like Green Day and NoFX and quickly gained some attention. The musician, who has since moved to Berlin, proved that he was by no means limited to punk rock with the indie rock band TUSQ. But he also joined the Kreuzberg punk rock institution Terrorgruppe after their reunion as the first keyboard player in the band's history. The end of that punk rock institution meant the beginning of his solo career and with it the beginning of an extremely productive time. He gained attention with his “Punk Rock Piano” when he was able to convince the scene that punk rock works just as well with piano and cello as with bass, drums and electric guitar. NoFX, Lagwagon and Bad Religion were also presented in a unique new version, as were WIZO, Scrap Limit or Terrorgruppe and others. Since then, Uli Sailor can be seen playing the piano all year round on large and small stages.
After the critically acclaimed EP “Forever Young” (2024), Uli Sailor's first solo album will be released in spring 2026 and thus the current highlight of his long musical life. There are ten songs that talk about love, loss, attitude and the unshakable power of punk rock. Welcome back!
