Ice Światnia for the 12th time was built in the Smokowicki saddle - Hrebienok 1285m. This year, the inspiration of the ice building is the 30th perpetrator of the visit of Pope John Paul II to the High Tatras. The Pope is commemorated by his portrait carved in ice, the Wawel cathedral, on the tower of which I show the time of death of J.P.II - 21:37, and the church of St. Wojciech. 225 tons of ice brought from Poland were used for the building. Free admission. For the queue, it is possible to buy a ticket with a GOPASS card (card payment)
Departure from Tarnów at 5:00 al. M.B Fatima (priestess).
Ride on the route: Tarnów - Stara Lubowla - Tatrzańska Łomnica - Smokowiec.
Pedestrian route: Stary Smokowiec - Herbiek (Ziel) 1,15h/ 2.5km 259 m (top). Descent: Hrebiek (Ziel+Niebie) - Tatrzańska Łomnica 7km/2.30h 444 m (Dół).
