About event
Loes Bluegrass Trio consists of Dutch singer and guitarist Loes van Schaijk (formerly Waterflow, Red Herring), Czech violinist Honza Bartošek (Twisted Timber) and Czech multi-instrumentalist Ondra Kozák (Zenkl & Kozák, New Aliquot, Křeni).
You can look forward to original work influenced by progressive bluegrass, Celtic music and retro pop. A dash of jazz is added to it. Although Loes writes his lyrics mainly in English, several of their songs have already received decent Czech translations.
And for those who are curious how much Loes "grunts" in her mother tongue (she says not much), she also sings something in Dutch.
Loes' original work has already won her awards at several music festivals, including the renowned Czech Porta (2021), Interporta (2022), Sofia Singer Songwriter Fest in Bulgaria (2022) and CZ-PL Fest in Poland (2023).
