Longital, a fixture of the Czech-Slovak independent scene, has been active for 25 years with an original combination of poetic lyrics, Shinya's charismatic vocals, stringed bass lines and the inimitable guitar of Dan Salontay. Hansard & Markéta Irglová).
The new album The country runs down its own shore (Slnko Records, 2025) brings an intimate and experimental sound journey - from acoustic instruments to electronic layers to a unique voice. The texts open up space for internal questions of being, joy and transience. The album is an invitation to stop, to listen internally and to return to what is essential.
