Longital (SK) znovu v Kaštanu

Longital is one of the mainstays of the Slovak independent scene, with twelve albums and two music awards. They presented their work at festivals and club tours in twelve European countries, the USA, Canada and Ukraine. In addition to concerts and albums, Longital are invited to film and collaboration, theater music and dance performances in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Daniel Salontay and Shina are a musical and partner duo. Longital is the historical name of the rock above the Danube River in Bratislava, where the couple lives and creates. Their songs are exclusively in Slovak, personal lyrics create unusual emotions and stories on a musical background, as if from their own universe. Shina's charismatic vocals, deep stringed bass lines and expressive stage presence and imaginative lyrics are balanced by Daniel's penchant for innovative unique guitar playing and string playing in positions ranging from fragile minimalist positions to unbridled walls of sound. Female and male vocals intertwine, sometimes they sound together, sometimes separately. Longital's music is full of surprises and dynamic twists.
